Sometimes, working with new clients can be enlightening in unexpected ways. There are times when I focus solely on nailing down a strategy and times when I focus on the power of messaging. The beginning of any project can feel like a team-building exercise when I’m working with a new client or partner.
We usually focus on evolving an old idea or mindset. When the stars align and strategy collides with tight messaging, they begin to evolve. The process transforms their projects, and once they know how they would like to speak to the world, everything they create becomes a force.
The purpose of the exercise is to uncover the truth.
Tweaking projects is where the fun begins. If you’re like me, you probably still get stuck working on visual changes or focus on analytics reports for too long. It takes time away from creating new things.
