So first, there’s a new color, hope you like it. Onto pressing things: there’s an overlap crisis unfolding in my dashboard.

As you may know, Xavier is not my real name. There are (maybe) two people who subscribed to this newsletter who know me in real life. That number may grow over time, but I’d like to control that on an invite basis.

I’m noticing a tiny bit of overlap from one of my public-facing publications. It might just be my two friends, but I’d like to create some runway to keep things organic.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I can be a mystery man for a few years before I run out of stories to tell.

I want to meet new people and avoid running into my core audience on Substack. Okay, so maybe it is not a full-blown crisis, but some panic. 😇
