my high-end Chromebook died on me after the holidays

but... it's working today! (and I don't know why or how long it will stay on before it gets stuck in another boot loop)

2025 started with a bang. And by that I don’t just mean happenings in geopolitics and a new era of American isolation…

I mean I was banging my head on my pillow as my workload reached (what feels like) an all-time-high right around the time when several of my devices stopped working and an upcoming move that will likely only afford me 40-ish hours to get it all done.

At this point, I’m not even sure if I can get my desk out of my bedroom without dissembling it.

Grrr! With parts of my world falling apart, I’m enjoying the little high I’m getting today as a smash thought my done list. My Chromebook cost me over $600 in 2021. I’m not trying to purchase a new high-end device anytime soon and I also stubbornly don’t want to downgrade to a plastic Chromebook at a discount.

Plus it’s Friday and there’s sex on the menu after sunset. Story time when I’m free again… 🤤😉
